ترجمۂ کنزالایمان: اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان رحم والا

Translation: Allah in the name of the most Affectionate the Merciful

Du’a for Reading the Book or Islamic Lesson

Read the following Du’a (supplication) before studying a religious book or Islamic lesson , you will remember whatever you study.

Translation:Ya Allah! Open the portal of knowledge and wisdom for us, and have mercy on us! O the one who is the most honourable and glorious! (Al-Mustaraf, vol. 1, pp. 40)

Note: Recite Durud Sharif once before and after the Du’a.

ترجمۂ کنزالایمان:اور اگر جب وہ اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کریں تو اے محبوب تمہارے حضور حاضر ہوں اور پھر اللہ سے معافی چاہیں اور رسول ان کی شفاعت فرمائے تو ضرور اللہ کو بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان پائیں۔

                                                                                                      

Translation of Kanzul Iman:And if when they do justice unto their souls, then O beloved! They should come to you and then beg forgiveness of Allah and the messenger should intercede for them then surely, they would find Allah Most Relenting, Merciful (4:64)

Excellence of Durud Shareef

The Noble Rasool صلی اللہ تعالی علیہ وسلم has stated, ‘Whoever recites Salat upon me one time, Allah عزوجل sends ten mercies upon him.’ (Sahih Muslim, pp. 166, vol. 1)

Almighty Al’laah  عَزَّوَجَلَّIs Free From All Defects

It is the belief of the Ahle Sunnat wa Jama'at that Almighty Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ does not lie and He does not possess the power of telling a lie. Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is free from all defects and those things which lead to defects.

Almighty Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ says in the Holy Quráan,

“And whose word is more truthful than that of Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ?”

[Surah Nisa Verse.122]

“And whose word is more truthful than the word of Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.”

[Surah Nisa Verse.87]

Imam-ul-Mufas’sireen, Imam Fakhrudeen Raazi states:

“It is not permissible for any Muslim to even think that Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ can tell a lie. Actually to even think such a thought removes one from the folds of Imaan.” [Tafseer Kabeer Vol.5 – Pg.179]

He further mentions:

“To be truthful is from amongst the Attributes of Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. The evidence for this is that to tell a lie is a defect for Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and for Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ to have any defect is Muhaal (Totally impossible)” [Tafseer Kabeer Vol.4 - Pg.138]

Umdatul Mufasireen Imaam Abdur Rahmaan Baidhawi states:

“A lie cannot find any place in the Message of Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, as it is a defect and to have a defect Muhaal for Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.” [Tafseer Baidhawi Pg.150]

Zubdatul Mufas’sireen Allama Ali bin Muhammad Khaazin states:

“(The point to be mentioned) is the fact that there is none more truthful than Al’laah  عَزَّوَجَلَّ and He does not go against His Word and it is totally impossible for Al’laah  عَزَّوَجَلَّ to lie” [Tafseer Khaazin Vol.1 – Pg. 421]

Allama Khateeb Muhammad bin Sharbeeni (Alaihir Rahma) states:

“The above command of Almighty Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is sufficient evidence that it is Muhaal (totally impossible) for there to be a lie in the Message of Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.” [Tafseer Sirajum Muneer Vol.1 – Pg.73]

Allama Muhammad bin Abdullah Tamrtaashi states:

“To say that Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has the ability of tyranny, lies and ignorance is totally incorrect as it is an impossibility. The reason for this is because that which is Muhaal (totally impossible) cannot be accepted to be within the power of Almighty Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. [eg. the creation of another Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ which is definitely Muhaal] and according to the Mu'tazillas (another corrupt sect – firqa), He has the power but does not do so (Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ  forbid”) [Tanweer ul Absaar]

It is in Fatawa Alamgiri:

“Any person who says Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ to possess a certain attribute which is not worthy of His Being,

or says Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Ta’aala to be weary or to have some weakness, then such a person committed kaafir.” [Fatawa Alamgiri Vol.2 – Pg.258]

Allama Muhammad bin Ali Qaari (Alaihir Rahma) states:

“One must not think that Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has power over tyranny since this is Muhaal for Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and that which is Muhaal is not under the Qudrat (Power) of Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. The Mu'tazillas however believes that Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has this power and does not do it.” [Sharah Fiqh Akbar]

Note: This belief of the Mu’tazillas is absolutely corrupt and unacceptable.

Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alf Thaani Sheikh Ahmad Sarhindi Faarooqi states: “That Most Exalted ONE (Al’laah عَزَّوَجَلَّ) is free and pure from all defects, direction and limitations.” [Maktoobat Vol.1 -Page.314]

Ya Allah عزوجل of Mustafa  صلی اللہ تعالی علیہ وسلم! We make sincere Dua that  blesses us all with strength in Imaan and true love for the Holy Prophet  صلی اللہ تعالی علیہ وسلمand for all those who follow that which has been taught and commanded by Him.
